Award-winning writer, Martin Johnson.

Martin challenges his audience to look below the surface of life to find meaning and purpose.

Martin Johnson is an award-winning writer of both inspirational movies and mature spiritual content. Martin’s goal is to help others experience a deeper faith experience through what he shares in his writing. Martin challenges his audience to look below the surface of life to find meaning and purpose. His nonfiction writing is countercultural both secularly and spiritually.

Martin’s first inspirational screenplay about a college student who suffers a traumatic brain injury just before 9/11 won the first annual Atlanta pitch Summit screenwriting competition and was marketed to the Georgia film community.

While majoring in English, Martin sustained a severe traumatic brain injury that cost him 30% of his brain. After miraculously recovering, Martin re-devoted himself to his faith and began encouraging and working with others with brain injuries or disabilities.

In addition, Martin became involved with the Promise Keepers men’s movement as a volunteer working with men’s ministries to help them grow and minister to their communities.

In 2014 Martin became one of the last Nonfiction Craftsman graduates of the former Christian writers Guild and has since completed one nonfiction book, contributed to Christian websites and he currently writes both the disability and screenwriting columns for almost an author.com, a top website for aspiring writers and is a freelance copywriter. He values enlightenment over entertainment.

When not planted in a chair behind the computer Martin enjoys making the most of his ability to walk to experience a fuller life than the one he once lived in the world. He is a self-proclaimed health nut: gym rat, runner, and cyclist.

As a nature enthusiast, he enjoys looking for God in the simple things of life. Come along with him and enjoy a deeper faith experience through his writing: blog, columns, inspirational movies, and nonfiction Christian books, or book him as a speaker for your ministry.
